Batik Air Launches Direct Flight from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne

Introduction

Batik Air is excited to announce the launch of a new direct A330 flight from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Melbourne (MEL) on December 20, 2023. This seasonal flight schedule, available until February 6, 2024, aims to meet the increasing demand for travel to Australia during the peak holiday and travel seasons. Passengers can expect an exceptional travel experience on the latest Batik Air modern wide-body A330 fleet.

Flight Schedule

The direct flight OD 175 departs from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) four times per week, on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:20 pm. It arrives at Melbourne (MEL) at 5:15 am the following day, allowing passengers to choose a schedule that suits their needs. The return flight, OD 176, operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing from Melbourne at 6:45 am and arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 12:10 pm.

To commemorate the launch of this direct flight, Batik Air is offering special promotional fares starting at RM899 for all-inclusive one-way Economy Class tickets and RM5,299 for Business Class. The sales period begins immediately and lasts until December 10, 2023, for travel between December 20 and December 30, 2023.
